Ashley Johnson-Wicks is a Detroit born and Chicago raised writer, actress, educator and holistic wellness advocate. She currently teaches fifth grade students in the heart of Chicago,Illinois. Ashley’s heart are her favorite people: her husband and son. She is the author of the memoir “The Surgery” which tells her story of surviving sexual, religious, and emotional trauma. However, she wholeheartedly believes in God, forgiveness, and true healing. She is also half of the Aunty and Ash Podcast.
